Abstract

The Students abilities in solving math problems vary greatly. The underlying purpose of this research is to identify students' ability to solve problems that exist in the problem of line and angle material. The research uses a method that describes how far students' abilities are based on indicators of achieving basic competencies. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Majalaya with the subjects selected were 15 students from class VIII K. Data collection was carried out by giving written test sheets to students and documentation to describe the results of student work. The steps taken to analyze the data obtained are selecting data according to criteria, displaying data, and concluding results.
