AYO BELAJAR APPLICATION AS AN INNOVATION AND ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MEDIA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMI

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on various sectors, especially the education sector. Teachers and students are required to carry out distance learning interactions. This has led to many developers releasing and providing learning applications to assist teachers and students in carrying out teaching and learning activities. From this condition, the writer had the idea to create a distance learning media in the form of the Let's Learn application. This application is an Android-based learning media innovation that can be carried anywhere. Because its mobile shape allows users to use it more easily. The Ayo Learning application is designed to make it easier for students to learn Indonesian. This is because this application has only been supplemented with Indonesian materials for class X semester 1. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and is based on informants from various sources. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the implementation of online learning is running smoothly, even though the learning system is perceived as less effective and ideal. Student learning outcomes also varied, some were unsatisfactory, moderate to good. However, there are still many obstacles to online learning such as; lack of internet quota, unstable network and learning support tools such as laptops and cellphones. Learning success depends on students and teachers, online learning applications provided by developers are only limited to supporting teaching and learning activities during a pandemic.
