I. Ethics for Authors
- Originality and Plagiarism:
- Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is their original work.
- Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism, paraphrasing another person's work without proper attribution, or claiming another person's findings as one's own, is considered a serious ethical violation and will not be tolerated.
- All works or words quoted from other sources must be accompanied by proper citations and references.
- Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Submission:
- Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to more than one journal.
- A manuscript that has already been published elsewhere must not be resubmitted for publication.
- Authorship:
- Authorship credit must be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported research.
- All individuals who meet the authorship criteria must be listed as authors. Individuals who have contributed to the work, such as through technical assistance, writing, or editing, but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section.
- The corresponding author must ensure that all authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and have agreed to its submission for publication.
- Disclosure and Conflict of Interest:

- All conflicts of interest, such as financial or personal relationships that could influence the results or interpretation of the research, must be disclosed.
- Data Access and Retention:
- Authors should be prepared to provide relevant raw data associated with the manuscript for editorial review upon request.

- Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the authors, peer reviewers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
- No Conflict of Interest:
- Editors must not participate in the decision-making process for manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with the authors.
- Fairness and Peer Review:
- Editors must evaluate manuscripts fairly and objectively, without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.
- Editors must ensure that the peer review process is conducted fairly, objectively, and in a timely manner.
- Investigation of Ethical Misconduct:
- If an ethical concern arises regarding a published or submitted manuscript, the Editor must take appropriate and reasonable action, working with the authors and/or the authors' institutions when necessary.
III. Ethics for Peer Reviewers
- Contribution to Editorial Decisions:
- Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and may also help authors improve the quality of their manuscripts.

- Any reviewer who feels unqualified to review the research or knows that a timely review will be impossible should notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
- Objectivity:
- Reviews must be conducted objectively.
- Personal criticism of the authors is not permitted.
