Physical Education, Sports, and Health Teachers’ Creativity in Addressing Facility Constraints in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
Abstract
The lack of facilities and infrastructure remains a significant challenge in delivering Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) instruction at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study aims to determine the level of teacher creativity in overcoming infrastructure constraints during PJOK learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Watampone, Bone Regency. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a survey method. Primary data were col
lected through a validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained through observation and field notes. The study involved 11 PJOK teachers as respondents. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results revealed that teachers' ability to generate accurate ideas reached 84%, decision-making considerations 80%, openness to new ideas 82%, detailed problem analysis 50%, and the creation of new ideas 60%. Overall, teachers' creativity levels were categorized as good. These findings indicate that although most teachers demonstrate innovation in limited-resource conditions, further efforts are needed to enhance their analytical depth and the ability to develop new creative solutions. This study provides important implications for the professional development of PJOK teachers in madrasah settings.
