The Influence of the Water Fun Games Model on Freestyle Swimming Learning Outcomes in Students of Class X of Tunas Dharma High School
Pengaruh Model Permainan Water Fun Games terhadap Hasil Belajar Renang Gaya Bebas pada Siswa Kelas X SMA Tunas Dharma
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Water Fun Games model on improving students' perception in freestyle swimming learning at SMA Tunas Dharma. The research method used was an experimental design with a pretest-posttest. The subjects were grade X students participating in swimming lessons. The research instrument used was a student perception questionnaire. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ perception after implementing the Water Fun Games model, indicated by a higher posttest mean score compared to the pretest. This model created an enjoyable learning atmosphere, enhanced students’ confidence, and reduced fear of water. It can be concluded that Water Fun Games is effective for improving students’ positive perceptions in swimming learning.
