Abstract

Developing social skills in students is an important aspect of holistic education. This study aims to explore the potential of hockey in developing students' social skills through bibliometric analysis. Therefore, this study uses bibliometric analysis methods to explore publication trends related to the potential development of students' social skills through hockey from 2014 to 2024. The analysis results showed increased research interest in exploring the relationship between hockey and the development of social skills, such as teamwork, communication, leadership, and conflict management. These findings reveal that the sport of hockey has significant potential to facilitate the development of students' social skills through game dynamics involving team interaction, strategy, and conflict resolution. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the benefits of hockey in educational contexts and menyoroti potensinya sebagai alat pendukung dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial siswa secara holistik.
