Minat dan Motivasi Terhadap Olahraga Tradisonal Balogo di Kampung Ohoy Banjarbaru

Abstract

The traditional sport of Balogo is part of the cultural heritage of the Banjar people which is starting to be eroded by the development of the times. The decline in interest and motivation of the community, especially the younger generation, towards this traditional sport is an important concern. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest in motivation for traditional Balogo sports in Ohoy Village. This study used a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was the community in Ohoy Village with 50 people as subjects. Sampling used a random sampling method with 20 as subjects. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The questionnaire sheet contained 4 alternative answers taken through a Likert scale. The results of the statistical analysis showed that the t-value was <0.05 significant value (11.082 <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is motivation in the interest in traditional Balogo sports in Ohoy Village.
