Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of digital-based learning in supporting deep learning at SMAN 1 Karawang. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The study focused on three main aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation of digital learning, as well as the role of school leadership in optimizing these processes. The results reveal that the management of digital-based learning at SMAN 1 Karawang has been effectively implemented through the synergy of school leadership, teacher readiness, and technological infrastructure support. The principal applied a transformational leadership style that fosters innovation and collaboration among teachers. The use of digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and internal Learning Management Systems has created interactive, collaborative, and contextual learning environments. Furthermore, digital learning has proven to enhance students’ deep learning abilities by strengthening critical thinking, creativity, and learning independence. Supporting factors include school policies, teachers’ digital literacy, and a collaborative learning culture, while challenges remain in digital competence gaps and internet accessibility. Therefore, the management model implemented at SMAN 1 Karawang can serve as a best practice for other schools seeking to develop effective digital learning management with continuous collaboration between the government, schools, and the community.
