Abstract

Collaboration between schools, parents, and communities is a vital component of an education system oriented toward quality improvement. This study aims to describe the forms of collaboration implemented in Indonesian schools, analyze supporting and inhibiting factors, and measure the contribution of such collaboration to education quality. The research used a library research approach by analyzing scientific literature, journals, and educational policy documents. The findings reveal that effective collaboration among schools, parents, and communities improves student achievement, discipline, and character formation. Community-based collaboration supported by participatory leadership creates a more conducive and competitive learning environment. However, challenges such as low parental awareness, communication barriers, and the lack of systematic policies remain. The study recommends strengthening collaboration through educational communication forums, leadership development programs, and digital technology utilization. These findings are expected to contribute to both policy and practice in establishing a sustainable collaborative education ecosystem in Indonesia.
