Analisis Kebutuhan Alat untuk Mencapai Prestasi Optimal pada Ekstrakulikuler Karate di Kabupaten Karawang

Abstract

The problem in the focus of the research is the lack of training aids that can support karate extracurricular activities in Karawang Regency. To answer the problems that have been previously expressed, in this study the author uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The sampling method used by the researcher is purposive random sampling. Data analysis in this study is observation, in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that the analysis of training equipment needs to achieve optimal performance in karate extracurricular activities in Karawang Regency as seen from the results of interviews, namely from three (3) schools the need for training equipment is still in the sufficient category because some schools with different levels have several equipment for the continuity of the training process. However, there are several important things that must be completed by each school, namely mats, one of them, then modification of equipment is also very helpful for the running of the training process to achieve optimal performance in karate extracurricular activities in Karawang Regency.
