PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS WARGA BELAJAR PENDIDIKAN KESETARAAN PAKETC DI SKB KUNINGAN

Abstract

Education is a place to train one's critical thinking skills. However, based on Program for International Student Assessment (PIZA) data, critical thinking skills in Indonesia are still low. This is shown by data in 2015 with a score of 397 Indonesia was in the 62nd position out of a total of 72 countries participating. Critical thinking is a cognitive skill that allows a person to investigate a problem, situation, question, or phenomenon to be able to make judgments or decisions. Learning motivation is all the driving forces that exist within students that give rise to a willingness to learn. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence on learning motivation on the critical thinking skills of citizens learning equivalence education Package C. The method used is a quantitative approach using the correlational method. The target of this research is residents studying Package C SKB Kuningan with a total sample of 79 people using the Yamane formula. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Measurement of research instruments using a Likert scale. The research data shows that it meets the normality test, heteroscedasticity test and simple linear regression test where the probability value is < alpha (0.05) so that H0 is rejected. Thus, learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on the critical thinking skills of residents studying Package C at SKB Kuningan. The contribution of the magnitude of the influence of learning motivation on the critical thinking skills of learning citizens is 88.7%.
